Well, when i was around 6 or 7 years old, my mom took me shopping somewhere.(Like i remember??)Well, you know how little kids are, They point at a toy and tell their parent they want it. Sometimes the parents say No. Then the kid has a fit and starts crying and screaming. So, as always, the parents give in. Well, that's probably what i did. But back then I usually got what I wanted.(Not to sound bratty or anything)
Anyway, well apparently,the Mattel people(The barbie creators)made a Barbie that is pregnant.Now i just thought that was the coolest thing in the world.I still do. A Barbie that's pregnant equals AWESOME! Anyway, i wanted it terribly. Well i got it. Which i was so happy about! Well here is how it worked, there was a fake BIG belly that was magnetic, and the real slim belly that stayed on the Barbie was magnetic to.The fake belly attached to the real belly.So the fake belly could come on and off. It came with two babies. The fake belly was hollow so you could put one of the babies inside of it. It was really cool. Well i guess i was a clumsy kid because i lost the belly. A couple of years ago ago i found the Barbie, Midge. I looked at her and tried to remember what set i got her in... Then i remembered she was the pregnant one!!! Well i looked everywhere for that belly. EVERYWHERE. but i couldn't find it.I finally accepted the fact that it was gone. Well, i thought since the belly was gone, I didn't want the barbie. She was no more use to me. So, i gave her away to Goodwill or i trashed her. I can't remember. Anyway, last year guess what decided to show up one day when i was playing Barbies?? THE BELLY. I was devastated but excited at the same time . I didn't have the Barbie, and she was the only one that could use magnetic belly. So, i tried the belly on several other Barbies, but NOPE. Wouldn't work. I was so mad at myself. Well i guess i was still clumsy because I lost my belly AGAIN. Anyway, Just yesterday i found Midge's Pj's and her two babies. I'm still sad about it and i wish i still had her and the belly.But we'll see maybe i might get her for Christmas off of Amazon! :)
